Referral Disclosure
Effective October 20, 2026.
Chicago Bathroom Remodeling Experts is a free referral service. We match Chicago homeowners with independent remodelers. We do not perform remodeling, plumbing or electrical work.
How we are paid
Using the site and the matching service is free for homeowners. The remodelers we match you with may pay us for referrals. That payment does not change the price a remodeler quotes you, and you are never obligated to hire anyone.
How remodelers are chosen
We send your request to up to three independent remodelers who serve your ZIP code and handle your type of project. Before a remodeler receives requests from us, we check that it holds an active City of Chicago general contractor license in the public City database. We do not rank remodelers by quality, and we do not publish reviews or ratings of them.
What you should still check
A license can expire or change after we check it, and plumbing and electrical work need their own licensed contractors. Before you hire, look up the license yourself, ask for proof of insurance, and get a written contract. In Illinois, the contractor must give you a written contract and the brochure “Home Repair: Know Your Consumer Rights” for jobs over $1,000. Our license guide walks you through it.
Guides and images
Our guides are written by our editorial team from public sources, which we cite and date. Remodelers do not pay to appear in or change our guides. Photos on the site show design ideas and are not photos of any remodeler’s work.
