Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Chicago Bathroom Remodeling Experts (“we”, “us”) collects on chicagobathroomremodelingexperts.com, how we use it, and who we share it with. We are a free referral service for bathroom remodeling in the City of Chicago. This site is owned and operated by Construlead LLC, a Florida limited liability company.

Information we collect

• What you type into the get-matched form: your ZIP code, project type, name, phone number, email address and any project details you add, plus a record that you checked the consent box and which version of the consent text you saw.
• Basic technical data sent with the form: the page you sent it from, your browser’s user agent, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, which we use only to limit spam and abuse.
• Messages you send us by email, text or phone.
• Calls to our phone number: if you call us, we log the number you call from, the time and the length of the call. If you leave a voicemail, it is recorded and kept in the account of our phone provider (Twilio). We use this only to understand demand and to respond to you, and we keep it as long as form requests (up to 24 months) unless you ask us to delete it at info@chicagobathroomremodelingexperts.com.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Our guides and cost pages can be read without giving us any information.

How we use it

• To match your request with independent remodelers who serve your ZIP code, and to tell you which remodelers received it.
• To contact you about your project by phone, text or email, as you agreed on the form.
• To prevent spam and fraud, keep records of consent, and comply with the law.
• To understand, in aggregate, which pages and projects people ask about, so we can improve the site.

Who we share it with

• Remodelers: when you ask to be matched, we share your request with up to three independent remodelers who serve your ZIP code. They may pay us for the referral. Each remodeler uses your information under its own privacy practices to contact you about your project.
• Service providers that run the site for us, such as website hosting and database storage (Cloudflare) and email delivery (Resend). They may use the information only to provide those services.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
• Business transfer: if this website or business is sold or transferred, the information may be transferred with it, subject to this policy.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone else for their own marketing.

Texts and calls

You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. You can also ask us to stop calling or emailing you by writing to the address below. We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How long we keep it

We keep form requests for up to 24 months after you send them, and consent records for up to 5 years so we can show that you agreed to be contacted. After that we delete them or keep only anonymous totals.

Security

Form data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored with access limited to the people who need it to process your request. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@chicagobathroomremodelingexperts.com. If we already shared your request with a remodeler, we will tell you which one so you can contact it directly.

Children

This site is for adults planning home projects. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Changes apply to information collected after the new date.
