Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 22, 2026.
We want everyone to be able to read our guides and request a referral on this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or magnification. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we do
- Pages use headings, lists, tables and landmarks so that screen readers can move through them.
- Everything, including the request form and the menu, can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text is set to resize and the layout adapts to small screens and zoom.
- We check text and background colors for contrast and do not rely on color alone to carry meaning.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
Limits
We test the site ourselves and have not had it audited by an outside accessibility firm. Some pages link to documents and websites run by the City of Chicago, the State of Illinois or other organizations, and we do not control their accessibility.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, email info@chicagobathroomremodelingexperts.com with the page address and what happened. We read every message, and we will aim to fix the problem or send you the information in another format. Email is the best way to reach us: our phone line takes voicemail only.
Accessible bathrooms
If you are planning a bathroom for easier, safer use, see our guides to walk-in showers and tub-to-shower conversions.
